No Patti!

Patti won't have to entertain me anymore, after that very short performance Saturday night at the Smart Financial Center. I would have preferred she come in appropriate dress (for her age) and sang to us. I have always viewed her as a "real " singer, a classy singer. The short dress NO.PATTI,PATTI! We were in row 6 and on the big screen could see her varicose vein, greasy legs. Now I too, have them but I don't show them off. Also kicking off your shoes has gotten very old. Patti left us expecting much more from her. On the other hand Ms. Gladys Knight was amazing! She should have been the headliner. I loved her red outfit. She was classy and very entertaining. Despite being in her 80's, she stood and sang most of her time, while her back ground singers sat. When she did sit it was an even better, more intimate performance. I would like to see Gladys at the Arena Theatre. Up close and personal. Stephanie mills was good also once she came on stage. I was very dissatisfied that the show started an hour late.
